Vandy loves people, purpose and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. Vandy was born and raised in Brooklyn NY. His down to earth, sense of humor often cuts through his prolific and powerful teaching that creates an awesome blend gospel message that everyone can relate to and connect with.
Vandy has an earned Doctorate in Theology, and Ph.D. in Biblical Studies. Author of 2 books “Redefining Mega – The Keys To Have A Mega Impact in Church, Business and Life” and “Love & Happiness – The Secrets To Creating Winning Relationships“. A certified Christian counselor with presidential status from the American Association of Christian Counselors. Founder of I AM GOD’S PROPERTY virtue & purity program for Youth 12-21, and Love & Happiness LLC, and CEO of Vandy Colter Ministries. Service includes: Police Dept. Chaplain, 25 years in ministry, former College president and professor for North Carolina College of Theology South Jersey Satellite Campus.
To some he is known by his consecrations as “Apostle”, or “Bishop”, but to the Believe Church family where he serves as Lead Pastor, he is “Pastor”.

Dr. Barbara Lynelle Colter, Co-Pastor
When you meet Barbara her virtue and loving spirit will grab you right away. Barbara is compassionate, genuine and an anointed leader and preacher of the gospel.
Born and raised in Philadelphia PA where she gave her heart to the Lord at the tender age of 12. At the age of 14, Barbara said yes to God’s call on her life and preached her first sermon. She didn’t know then but God was preparing her for a life dedicated to ministry.
Anyplace those who need their spirits lifted are, she’s there. With her sweet spirit of hospitality Barbara loves to make those around her comfortable. Barbara has tenured as an Executive Pastor and Youth Pastor. With years of professional Child Care Director experience as owner and operator of several childcare centers over the years and is co-founder of I AM GOD’S PROPERTY & Love and Happiness LLC.
Barbara has an earned Doctorate in Theology, NCCT.
